今天看片子的时候，里面有一个场景。一个男的一出门就滑倒了。说了一句：“Why is there shortening all over the place?”一时没明白什么意思，查了一下才知道。原来shortening除了表示缩略形式这个意思意外，还表示猪油，黄油一类的起酥油的意思。

I don't ......no......啥意思？ 很简单的双重否定句型。看看下面的两句话是什么意思呢？

例，
I don't mean no harm.

I don't say it's no good.

这种句型貌似黑人用的比较多，其实其想要表达的意思是否定的。所以口语当中，你可以忽略后面那个No。呵呵意思是不是反过来了。也就是说，其本意是：

I don't mean （no）harm. 我不想伤害（你）。

I don't say it's （no） good. 我没说那是好的。
